Food & Beverages
Three meals a day is provided and in some cases limited beverages. Please notify us of any specific catering needed. Bring extra bites and nibbles. Not all camps provide water. Bring your own. Beer and wine is available at most camps but not a big variety.
What to bring and not to bring?
Past hikers did the trail bare feet, with sandles or hiking boots. Each has their benefits - a topic of discussion on every hike.
We have a safe to lock away valuables when you arrive.
Linen and towels provided. Bring a beach towel.
Some camps have snorkeling gear for hire. Alternatively you can bring only a snorkel mask for your day pack. Try to pack in one bag. You cannot expect us to cart more than one suitcase, a vanity case, cooler box and sundry loose items for each person.
Optional extra days in Kosi
If you want a allround holiday you may add extra days for an Oceanic experience (snorkel or SCUBA from boat in open seas) or visiting Tembe Elephant Reserve for a game drive. These options are only available for smaller groups who can be transported in 4x4 game drive vehicles.
